The Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel is described by many as the most beautiful building on the Old Base. Former Base Chaplain Major George Mennen described it as “the most beautiful chapel of my military career.” The chapel holds a unique story of its own in the history of military posts at the time and in the Plattsburgh community. CCHA’s Helen Nerska and Chapel Trustee Kate Chilton will share this story. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The program is free and open to the public.
