You are invited to become a member of the Clinton County Historical Association and a friend of the Clinton County Museum.

As the guardian of Clinton County's past, the Association has the following goals:
  • To preserve and publicize the history of Clinton County, New York.
  • To illuminate the past and interpret its meaning for visitors to the museum.
  • To acquire and preserve historical treasures which are the heritage of the people of Clinton County.
  • To educate succeeding generations in the rich history of the Champlain Valley, within the larger framework of the history of the United States.
In addition, the Association undertakes new challenges:
  • Conservation of Clinton County's material heritage.
  • Preservation of the Valcour Island Lighthouse.
  • Acquisitions for the museum collection.
  • Educational programs for children and adults.
