You are invited to become a
member of the Clinton County Historical Association and a friend
of the Clinton County Museum.
As the guardian of Clinton County's past, the Association has the following goals:
- To preserve and publicize the history of Clinton County, New York.
- To illuminate the past and interpret its meaning for visitors to the museum.
- To acquire and preserve historical treasures which are the heritage of the people of Clinton County.
- To educate succeeding generations in the rich history of the Champlain Valley, within the larger framework of the history of the United States.
In addition, the Association undertakes new challenges:
- Conservation of Clinton County's material heritage.
- Preservation of the Valcour Island Lighthouse.
- Acquisitions for the museum collection.
- Educational programs for children and adults.
