Many Clinton County residents were involved in one aspect or another of liquor transport during the Prohibition Era. This two room exhibit recreates the Speak Easy experience on the US-Canadian border, along with a player piano visitors can play, shows the newspaper headlines that dominated local papers, and uses a diorama to document the county’s ‘rum trail’.  The exhibit was created with the help of a Corridor of Commerce Grant from the Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership (CVNHP).
